One Long Crazy Ride
Four years of hell convinced her she wasn’t going to make it to 20. Luckily, AA changed all that
I came to AA completely and absolutely broken. I had just gotten an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, because even the courts knew I had a problem before I did. My life was a crazy ride. I wore clothes two sizes too big because I thought I would grow into them. I didn’t have many pants because I had cut them all into shorts. Somehow I forgot there was a cold season.
