Sober Parenting

My husband and I are native New Yorkers who moved to Switzerland six years ago. Last December, I was visiting family back in the US while my partner was working. When I finally got to my hometown after traveling all day with my toddlers, I wasn’t too tired to look up local in-person meetings. Just seeing the list of meetings, and making my schedule for the week, was like finding a deeper, easier way to breathe. And something that never ceases to amaze me is that I now feel this way. AA in my life is now so deeply anchoring.
