Patiently Waiting

After years of repetitive failure at controlled drinking, I finally realized that God was doing for me what I could not do for myself. I surrendered. That was the beginning of my sobriety. It took a sort of miracle for this alcoholic to swallow the reality that at some point I had crossed that cloudy line.
