He was introduced to alcohol at a young age and found AA decades later

Raised in a 1960s, in an upper middle class family of non-alcoholics, I was a product of the "me generation" and found myself totally absorbed with alcohol, drugs, sex and rock music. Maybe it was the diversion I needed to blot out the war in Vietnam, or maybe I was just destined to push myself over the line into becoming an alcoholic.
