Losing Myself
He nearly lost everything including himself before he found AA
I lost me to the bottle long before I quit. I was ending up in psych wards and hospitals. I just was not able to be honest with myself. Or with the few people that did stick around. I could count them on one hand. I drank most of the other people in my life away long ago.
