Sometimes it seemed we were always in the car. We were either heading to an AA commitment, or off to the local dinner, or to a meeting out of town to celebrate a group anniversary. There was always excitement as we discussed the history of AA, the lives of the founders, the fragile nature of how we even came about and continue to recover.
