A very different world awaited this AA only steps from her local bar
When I first arrived at the doors of AA, over 31 years ago, my life was very different then it is today. I was angry, full of fear, resentment and hate. I didn't trust anyone. My life had become one unmanageable mess. My health wasn't the best. My daughter was in a foster home and I felt as if life was no longer worth living.
